    The BuildSmart Trailer is a mobile learning resource that demonstrates both sustainable living and commercial building environments, illustrating indoor air quality, energy, and water-efficient green building methods to raise awareness of issues that impact occupant health, energy efficiency, and more. Currently, the trailer displays over 40 green building materials and energy efficiency solutions that have raised awareness for thousands of California residents over the past 7 years.

    Event description and details:
    Join us to discover the benefits of composting and the importance of soil health! After learning, volunteer in the garden and help add compost to new raised beds. Following your volunteer work, a nutritious and refreshing lunch will be provided to you by RDLA.
    Únete para descubrir los beneficios del compostaje y la importancia de la salud del suelo. Después de aprender, sé voluntario en el jardín y ayúdanos a añadir compost a las nuevas camas de siembra. Después de trabajar como voluntario, RDLA ofrecerá un almuerzo nutritivo y refrescante a los voluntarios.
    Activities:
    - Garden Tour/ Learn about the KitchenPOD
    - Composting activity 
    - Add compost to garden beds
    - Removal of green waste
    - Healthy Tasting cooking demo
     
    Accessibility: Spanish interpretation, no stairs or steps, mainly flat ground
