Hi I'm Elizabeth Christy, the Education Programs Manager. The Programs team is expansive and offers a variety of programs for all ages.

Our Green Schools Program offers a Sustainability Fundamentals Workshop for TK-12th grade students, career workshops, mini grants for schools and volunteer opportunities. Our Sustainability Fundamentals education sessions provide a comprehensive introduction to sustainability concepts for elementary and secondary school students. Encourage schools in your community to sign up for a free workshop for the 2024-2025 school year! If you are interested in volunteering for the Green Schools Program, you can support delivery of free environmental literacy workshops to schools in your community. This program provides and introduction to key topics like climate, air quality, water, energy, transportation, waste, environmental justice and green career pathways. Sign up here to volunteer for the Green School Program.

The Green Building Corps Program is our 6th month work based learning program for people interested in sustainability careers. offers participants a valuable chance to gain practical experience, forge connections, and actively contribute to green building projects. Each GBC member receives one on one mentoring, access to networking, a free one year membership and more. We are currently in our 8th cohort and will be onboarding the 9th Fall Cohort in October 2024.

We are so excited to be working with statewide community partners to deliver environmental literacy education, professional development and access to green jobs!
